Ingredients 2–3 dried bay leaves 5–6 whole cloves 2 cups of water 1 teaspoon of honey (optional, for taste) Instructions Boil the Water: Pour two cups of water into a small pot and bring it to a rolling boil. Add the Aromatics: Drop in the bay leaves and whole cloves. Simmer: Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot with a lid (to keep the beneficial essential oils from evaporating), and let it simmer for 8 to 10 minutes. Steep: Turn off the heat and let the tea sit, covered, for another 5 minutes. The water will turn a beautiful golden-amber color. Strain and Serve: Strain the tea into a mug, stir in a bit of honey if desired, and enjoy warm.
